Mtroniks have been designing and manufacturing Speed Controllers for over 20 years.
Today's Speed Controllers fall into two main categories, Brushed and Brushless.
Mtroniks have built a strong following of their Brushed Speed Controllers over the years by offering no nonsense speed controllers specifically suited to RC Locomotives. These speed controls are not only protected against motor short circuits and motor stalls but are 100% waterproof, something which Mtroniks pioneered over five years ago!
Because of the great success of the Brushed Speed Controllers used in small scale RC locos, Mtroniks, are now also working on a range of Brushless Speed Controls suited for large scale RC Locos, this new range of Brushless Speed Controls will be mainly aimed at the large ride on scale Locos offering upto 6 horse power if needed.
The new range of high power brushless controllers will be distibuted in the UK by Phoenix Locos. Phoenix Locos have been seen at many of the recent shows showcasing this new technology to many amazed onlookers! All the comments and remarks have been ones of amazement! The power, control and efficiency of the new controllers has to be seen to be believed!
