I have just tested the 15amp and 30 amp Tio controllers with no problems. Just set up the controller to the type of battery you are using then calibrate the unit and away you go. Good range of speed control. Very good at slow speed well done to Mtroniks for always updating the product range.

Thanks to my English friend Chris West has used Mtroniks Viper Marine 15 in my RC models boats scratchbuilt as my torpedo boat Vosper 70 feet scale 1:30, in my subchaser of 83 feet CS 13 scale 1:25 and I also go to have in one the most recent model RC that I am building. Although I don't have the client service close to my home for luck I have not needed it, I don't have complaint, and if I write them it is to make them arrive my recognition message to their product, because all my Viper Marine 15 speed control has worked perfectly. With my torpedo boat Vosper had an incident described in the edition November 2010 of Marine Modelling International, almost lose it, enter water in my torpedo boat but once recovered and when dry everything it worked again, I could check that the Viper Marine 15 it is 100% sure as says the promotion of its product. I have a web site (in Spanish) where I describe the construction all my models, and of course I have mention in several times the Mtroniks Viper Marine 15 that so good result has given to me. I have used your ESCs for over 10 years now and had very good service from them and yourselves. I am now into the RC Crawler scene and have the Rock C crawler ESC quite impressed with it and the additional programming available on it. I will definitely be getting the second version software one when it is released; keep the good service and work up.

To whom it may concern, I would like to thank both the lady who answered the phone and then the gent who led me through the problem solving process of setting up a Viper 20amp Marine controller this morning. I would not have known of this procedure, having gone through the instruction leaflet step by step a number times and still not getting reverse! How it came about is that I have recently set up a model boat course, running from my house, for the U3A [University of the Third Age – for the over sixties]. One member had part built and installed your product, but could not get it to work fully. I attempted to do the same, but failed!! You came to our aid, we all learnt and the owner went away very pleased. So thanks, you demonstrated to a new group how supportive the ‘trade’ are to the hobby enthusiasts and that every problem does have an answer – it’s finding that person and usually the producer is the first [ and friendly] first place!! You demonstrated what I said in an article for Marine Modelling International for this current month [July] – there are the ‘doubters’ and the ‘encouragers’ – you definitely came into the latter! I use the Viper Marine 40 in my 1:144 Big Gun combat warship, and have had no problems at all with it, despite having been sunk on multiple occasions. In a hobby where equipment failure means getting getting sent to the bottom, the reliability of the Mtroniks product has made it the benchmark.

I have in my 1/12 scale lobster boat a very early M/ Tronicks controller. To set this unit you have to push a switch in the middle of the controller sounds crazy.The unit is now 8/9 years old and it has never been a problem not bad for something that cost about £15 thats value for money.I have found the after sales service to be very good never had any problems with this company.

I have been using mtroniks speed controls for about 5 years now (mardave & 10th sc) and can can say hand on heart they are the best,also if you are unlucky and one does go up in smoke (and it's not your own fault) they are the best guy's and seem to want to get you back on the track as soon as poss thank's lad's

Having been retired many many years I find my off road truck gives me much pleasure (it has always used Mtroniks speed controllers forwards only with no problems), to save walking long distances to retrieve I purchased from a dealer a reversible, which unfortunately I blew, rather than return to the dealer which would probably have meant much correspondence to and fro I sent it to Mtroniks for comment. Imagine my utter amazement when 2 days after posting a replacement arrived on my doormat, no queries, no questions. It is truly warming to know that in these difficult times, there is one company out there that really does care for it's customers, thank you Mtroniks, you have one very happy and permanent customer who will gladly recommend your products to all modelling friends. Hello, I thought that you might be interested in the following information. Almost two years ago my "blue Devil" destroyer was run over and sunk by my larger 1/4" scale destroyer. It sank in about 25' of water, I finally got it back after 18 months, it was found in very bad condition indeed! After letting everything dry out for a month, I disassembled all of the electronics, anything of metal was rusted away. I plugged in your marine speed controller to another radio and motor and the darn thing worked, I can vouch that they are completely water proof, even under water pressure of one atmosphere. I am presently building another 1/4" scale destroyer and have two units just like the one in question in operation right now in the ship. You have a great product, Gordon Briggs.
