The RV MAX has no motor limit, what this means is that you can use any ,DC Brushed 540 size motor, although this means you could, in theory use it with a 6 turn motor, we feel this is quite unrealistic for use with any reversible Speed Control and would advise a limit of around 9 turns, for your model's sake as much as anything!
