The Genesis Ride is a Forwards and brake Brushless Speed Control designed specifically for use in 1/5 scale RC bikes.
The Genesis Ride has a 4.5 turn Brushless motor limit, this is a rough equivalent to a 9 turn Brushed motor making it suitable for use at competition level. It has adjustable features such as acceleration rates, brake power and even the ability to completely turn the brakes off, this is for those installs when you are thinking of using servo assisted brakes front and back!
The Genesis Ride was designed in early 2006 with a great deal of development work and help from key RC bike enthusiasts.
It was noted that nobody actually manufactured a speed control specifically to suit RC bikes which meant that there was surely room to improve the speed controls that people were currently using! With this in mind Mtroniks teamed up with Colin McCabe, a known RC bike racer, and set about designing the perfect speed control for use in RC bikes. Everything from the adjustable options to the actual rates of acceleration and feel were tested thoroughly until a final design was settled upon.
It was with this Brushless speed control that Colin McCabe entered the 2006 World Championships and finshed second overall after being the quickest for most of the meeting! Again in 2007 Colin ran in the World Championships and again managed to finish a very respectable second overall! With Colins support and presence at the track many other 1/5 scale RC bike racers have swapped over to the Genesis Ride and have been very happy with the performance advantage gained from running a Brushless speed control that is designed specifically for the job!

The Genesis Ride is capable of an average discharge rate of 75A and a peak discharge rate of 100A making it a very capable and attractive alternative to any modified Brushed set up.
The 'return to base' software upgrade enables the user to return their ESC to us to have the onboard software upgraded to the latest spec ensuring your ESC is never superceded!!(Software upgrade notices will be posted in the news section on www.mtroniks.net when made available)
