The Hobbypro Ford Super Chief is a 1/6 scale 2WD petrol powered, ready to run off road Truck that comes with a huge 26cc CY engine that gives rediculous power and incredible speeds! Everything on the Super Chief is heavy duty which makes it very hard to break! The Super Chief comes with chrome rims and LARGE Flame tread tyres! It has metal strengthening bracesand even metal body mounts to give extra strength just in case you manage to roll it! The pre-assembled Truck along with pre-installed radio gear comes with a pre-painted, pre-stickered 'very thick' robust bodyshell. (see images)

Got this massive monster onto the field the other day. WOW... 40 MPH and will flatten ANY nitro boy in the park at 13+ KG. Serious heavy build to deal with everything I threw at it. Ploughed field, 2 foot high grass. Took the lot. Well done Hobbypro and Mtroniks for finding a gem WITHOUT the price tag!

Here are my views on the Hobbypro h10 super chief in phases from when I purchased it, please read through to the end!  Phase 1 When I returned home from the model shop with my super chief I opened the box and was delighted with its presence, size weight etc! Phase 2 Starting the truck up was a pleasure next to the nitro relatives! No hassle what so ever! Providing the engine was primed etc, three or four pulls and the engine was running. In addition the engine required very little tweaking and has not been tweaked since buying it 8 months ago! Regardless of the outdoor temperature! Phase 3 Now the truck was tweaked and ready to run I headed for the local playing out spot where we normally take our nitro bashing! Bashing is the key word here! I tried to throw the truck around like I was using a nitro thinking it’s a petrol and it can take it! . . . . Wrong! After 10 minute’s tops the rear shock tower had smashed and the left steering arm / hub!! Not so good as there is now no support for the entire rear end of the truck or anything to hold the front left wheel on! So that was the end of that bash for me while my mate continues on with the nitro! Phase 4 Decided this breaking parts thing was going to keep happening, but after all the truck was half the price of the FG alternative! So I decided to take on the mission of making this Hobbypro truck as strong and durable as possible! And believe me I have achieved just that!  I spent approx £200 on alloy parts for the truck ordered directly from Mtroniks, these parts are of the highest quality and solve all the issues with the truck as stock! My opinion on this truck is excellent! Save yourself half the money you would spend on the FG truck and invest a bit of time and money into this truck and you have got yourself an absolute power house of a machine! You also get the added excitement of pulling the truck in bits whilst fitting the new parts, which is a huge bonus as it is always a good idea to get to know your RC vehicle inside out! After sale support is quite an important issue in this game and Mtroniks are very helpful when it comes to parts etc, very prompt service with delivery of parts. Speed? Power? This is the RC truck you require! Iv had it 8 months and still haven’t managed to get it up to full speed as the noise it makes is so frightening!  This truck has got it all providing you are willing to spend a bit of time and patience with it, but like I said this is part of the model game! cheers Wayne Fulton (Burnley)
